Main Street ABA

Welcome! I’m happy to be part of your journey.

I’m Ashley Senatus, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Licensed Behavior Analyst and Certified ADHD Coach. I specialize in providing ABA services to children and adolescents in the school, clinic and community setting.

I believe that every child deserves to be seen, heard, and valued for who they are and strive to provide compassionate, individualized ABA therapy that celebrates each child's unique strengths while supporting the development of meaningful skills that enhance independence, communication, confidence, and quality of life.

My neuro-affirming approach recognizes that neuro-diversity is a natural part of human diversity. Rather than trying to change who a child is, I focus on understanding their individual needs, honoring their communication styles, respecting their autonomy, and teaching functional skills that empower them to thrive in ways that are meaningful to them and their families.

I believe the best outcomes happen through collaboration, trust, and connection and partner closely with families to create personalized treatment plans rooted in evidence-based practices, compassion, and respect. Whether we're supporting communication, social relationships, emotional regulation, daily living skills, or community participation, my goal is to help every child build on their strengths while feeling safe, supported, and accepted. I was born and raised in Central Florida and earned degrees from the University of Central Florida, Florida State University, and Arizona State University. My professional background includes experience as an exceptional student education (ESE) teacher, school-based behavior specialist, and school administrator, providing me with extensive expertise in school-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), educational assessments, and the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process.

I am passionate about partnering with families and collaborating with school teams to promote meaningful, lasting behavior change across home, school, and community settings. I enjoy supporting families during IEP meetings and working alongside educators and related service providers to ensure interventions are consistent and effective across environments.

My services include conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), developing individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), collaborating with educational and medical professionals, providing individualized and small-group ABA services, and promoting the generalization of skills in natural environments. Whether in the home, school, or community, including local parks, recreational settings, and even theme parks, I strive to help clients build meaningful, functional skills that support long-term independence and success.

1:1 ABA Therapy

Every child learns differently, which is why our one-to-one ABA therapy is tailored to each individual's strengths, needs, and goals. Using evidence-based strategies, we work with children to build meaningful skills that support greater independence and success in everyday life.

Individualized therapy sessions are provided by compassionate, highly trained Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Treatment plans are designed based on comprehensive assessments and are continuously adjusted as your child grows and reaches new milestones.

Our 1:1 ABA services may focus on:

    •    Functional communication and language development

    •    Social and play skills

    •    Daily living and self-help skills

    •    Emotional regulation and coping strategies

    •    Attention, learning readiness, and independence

    •    Reducing behaviors that interfere with learning and participation

    •    School readiness and academic support

    •    Community safety and functional life skills

Therapy can be provided in our clinic, at school, or within the community, allowing children to learn and practice skills in the environments where they are used most. We emphasize collaboration with families, caregivers, and other professionals to promote consistency and help children generalize their skills across settings.

Our goal is to empower children with the tools they need to communicate effectively, build relationships, develop confidence, and achieve meaningful, lasting progress.

ABA Social Groups

Our ABA Social Groups provide a fun, supportive environment where children can build meaningful social skills while interacting with peers. Each group is designed to help participants practice skills in natural, engaging activities.

Social groups focus on developing age-appropriate skills such as:

    •    Starting and maintaining conversations

    •    Taking turns and sharing

    •    Cooperative play and teamwork

    •    Building friendships

    •    Problem-solving and conflict resolution

    •    Understanding social cues and perspectives

    •    Emotional regulation and coping strategies

    •    Flexibility during group activities

Through games, structured activities, role-playing, and peer interactions, participants have opportunities to practice new skills in real-life social situations while receiving individualized support and positive reinforcement.

Our groups are thoughtfully organized based on age, developmental level, and individual goals to ensure every participant has meaningful opportunities to learn and connect. We also collaborate with families by providing strategies and feedback to help children generalize their social skills beyond the group setting.

Our goal is to help each child develop confidence, strengthen social relationships, and build the skills needed to succeed at school, at home, and in the community.

Support

Community-Based ABA

Some of life's most meaningful learning happens outside of the therapy room. Our community-based ABA services help children build confidence and independence by practicing skills in the places they use them every day.

Therapy sessions can take place in a variety of community settings, including parks, playgrounds, libraries, grocery stores, restaurants, recreational activities, and local attractions. For families visiting or living near Central Florida, we also offer services in larger community environments such as Disney parks and resorts, where children can practice navigating exciting and complex settings with individualized support.

Community sessions focus on real-life skills such as:

    •    Community safety and awareness

    •    Functional communication and self-advocacy

    •    Waiting and tolerance for delays

    •    Flexibility with changes in plans and routines

    •    Navigating crowds and busy environments

    •    Following directions and community expectations

    •    Social interactions with peers and community members

    •    Purchasing items and ordering food

    •    Coping with sensory experiences

    •    Building independence and confidence in everyday situations

I use each outing as an opportunity to teach skills in a way that is meaningful, engaging, and individualized. Whether your child is learning to order their favorite meal, wait in line for an attraction, safely cross a parking lot, or enjoy a family day at Disney with greater confidence, my goal is to support participation, not perfection.

I believe that successful therapy should extend beyond the clinic. By teaching skills in natural environments, we help children generalize what they learn so they can participate more fully in family outings, school activities, vacations, and their communities while remaining true to who they are.

Every child has unique strengths, incredible potential, and the ability to thrive when given the right support.

Partnering with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) can make a life-changing difference by providing individualized, evidence-based strategies that help children develop essential communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills. Early intervention and personalized behavioral services empower children to overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve meaningful progress that lasts a lifetime.

At our practice, we believe that every milestone big or small is worth celebrating. Our compassionate team works closely with families to create customized treatment plans that focus on each child's specific needs, goals, and abilities. Through collaboration, education, and ongoing support, we empower parents with the tools and knowledge they need to help their children succeed both at home and in their communities.

Choosing a qualified Behavior Analyst is an investment in your child's future. With professional guidance, proven therapeutic techniques, and a commitment to excellence, we help children unlock their full potential, gain greater independence, and build the skills needed for lifelong success. Together, we can create brighter opportunities, stronger families, and a future filled with confidence, growth, and achievement.
